Overview
This short, immersive experience is designed for participants who want to focus on Trinidad’s rich rainforest birdlife, including opportunities to observe both diurnal and nocturnal species. Based at the renowned Asa Wright Nature Centre, the trip offers exceptional access to forest birds in one of the Caribbean’s premier birding locations.
Participants will enjoy relaxed yet rewarding birding from the Centre’s famous veranda and along forest trails, complemented by guided excursions into the Northern Range. Evening and early morning sessions provide chances to encounter more elusive species, making this an ideal option for those seeking a concentrated and memorable birding experience.
This package is offered at a special conference rate, well below typical costs for an Asa Wright commercial birding tour.
Accommodation
Stay at Asa Wright Nature Centre for two nights, set within a 1,500-acre protected forest in the Northern Range. The Centre offers comfortable accommodations, well-maintained trails, and outstanding birdwatching directly from the lodge.
