Accommodation
Stay at Asa Wright Nature Centre for three nights, set within a 1,500-acre protected forest in the Northern Range. The Centre offers comfortable accommodations, well-maintained trails, and outstanding birdwatching right from the lodge’s famous veranda.

- July 28 – Day 1: Arrival and Orientation
Transfer to Asa Wright Nature Centre. Settle in and enjoy an introductory birding session around the lodge.
Birding Highlights: Tufted Coquette, Copper-rumped Hummingbird, White-necked Jacobin, Purple Honeycreeper, Turquoise Tanager, Channel-billed Toucan. - July 29 – Day 2: Forest Birding Experience
Spend a full day exploring forest trails with expert guides, focusing on a rich diversity of species.
Birding Highlights: Golden-headed Manakin, White-bearded Manakin, Collared Trogon, Guianian Violaceous Trogon, Bearded Bellbird, Little Hermit. - July 30 – Day 3: Wetlands and Savannah Birding
Visit Nariva Swamp and Aripo Savannah, exploring a range of wetland and grassland habitats. Picnic lunch in the field.
Birding Highlights: Savannah Hawk, Wattled Jacana, Pinnated Bittern, Green Kingfisher, Red-bellied Macaw, Yellow-headed Caracara, Blue-and-yellow Macaw. - July 31 – Day 4: Oilbirds and Conference Transfer
Morning walk to the Oilbird Cave, followed by transfer to the hotel.
