The main conference will take place from Thursday, 23 July to Monday, 27 July at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad. Participants attending only the main conference should plan to arrive by Wednesday, July 22, and depart on Tuesday, July 28.
We encourage delegates to stay at either the Hyatt Regency Trinidad or the Radisson Hotel Trinidad, where special conference room rates have been arranged. July is a busy travel season, so we strongly recommend booking early to secure availability and preferred rates.
Please note that pre-conference workshops (22 July) and multi-day pre- and post-conference field trips (1-6 days) will also be offered. Be sure to review these options on the Field Trips and Program webpages when planning your travel to make the most of your conference experience.

Radisson Hotel Trinidad
Located in the heart of Port of Spain, the Radisson offers a comfortable stay just minutes from the conference venue. BirdsCaribbean has reserved a block of 70 rooms at this hotel.
- Check-in: 3:00 PM | Check-out: 12:00 PM
- Early check-in/late check-out fees apply; arrivals before 6:00 AM require booking the previous night
- All rooms are wheelchair accessible; two fully ADA-compliant rooms are available
- $100 USD refundable security deposit required

Room Rates
Room rates (see tables) are per person and include taxes and service charges. Breakfast is included in your room cost. For triple occupancy at the Hyatt, an additional $30 USD breakfast charge will apply for the third guest.
- Lunch is included in your conference registration on four main conference days (July 23, 24, 26, and 27)
- Lunch is also included for most mid-conference field trips (July 25)
- Dinner is not included; meals can be purchased at the hotel or nearby restaurants
Rates are valid for up to five days before and after the conference, allowing flexibility for workshops, field trips, and extended stays.
For off-site dining, we recommend consulting the hotel concierge for safe and reliable transportation.

* We generally do not recommend that participants stay in Airbnbs or accommodations outside our conference hotels. While some options may appear less expensive initially, delegates would then need to arrange and pay for daily transportation to and from the Hyatt, which can add up quickly, as well as cover breakfast and other incidental costs separately.
We also do not recommend walking to and from alternative accommodations, particularly at night, due to safety considerations. Our most affordable conference hotel option is the Radisson. Participants who share accommodations in double, triple, or quad rooms can access lower per-person nightly rates (approximately US$79.99, $57, and $51.65, respectively, inclusive of taxes and breakfast).
In addition, pickups for the mid-conference field trips will be available from both hotels, making logistics much easier and more convenient for participants.
